In 1980, Coating, Laminating and Converting, Inc. started casting 2 Mil vinyl and adhesive coated vinyl films primarily for OEM automotive decals, graphics and pinstriping. Our customers were large converters and silk screen printers throughout the USA and many countries worldwide.
These converters later started selling our vinyl into the computer graphics sign industries. We even designed and built slitting equipment for them to slit the vinyl.
In 1989, we started converting punched rolls on a private label basis for a few major converter/distributors throughout the world. In 1990, Coating, Laminating and Converting, Inc. merged with Florida Stripes, a pinstripe and auto graphics producer, and formed Tape Technologies, Inc.. Tape Technologies, Inc. then started selling finished rolls of punched and unpunched vinyl into the sign industry.
We can provide you with a complete program including different qualities of vinyl in a wide array of colors and sizes, plus many different accessory products.
